  Somebody hurt my baby! :S

  once again someone hurt nancy, my little mini cooper.

  this time they popped the front driver side window, broke it all out, stole my tomtom gps, ripped apart the center console and tore up the 12 volt plug while ripping the gps power cable out.

  the police came out and did the whole fingerprint thing and got a few bits and pieces of some prints, but we won't know if anything will come of it.

  When did we stop being customers and start being consumers?

  i really hate the word "consumer" - i see it all the time, in reports, business news, the markets.. consumers aren't consuming, they aren't spending.. a consumer sounds like some brainless automaton whose sole purpose is, well, to consume.

  .

  in the old days we were customers who made purchases - now we just consume.. does anyone else feel the same way?.

  We all became consumers, when we were forced to join the "Global Village" we gave up our rights to good customer service / friendly service, common courtesy, and decent products, so that greedy companies can make huge profits and continue to pilfer the pockets of everybody....

  i get emails like this all the time.

  some jw gets upset at the stuff on my site, and wanting to add more weight/shock value to what they say, they either mention in passing that they are "not one of jehovah's witnesses" or are a child.

  this one claims to be a 13-yr old girl!

  Judging by the writing of a 13 year old girl servant of joe hoever......it is obvious that that she is either blinded by the "troof" or is blinded by ignorance....or maybe the combination of both....It's sad either way!

  in latin america, countless boys are named jesus either as a first name or second name.

  there is even that singer jesus jones.

  Wedding Bells? Advice please!

  last night i got a text message from an old witness friend of mine inviting me to her wedding ceremony at the kingdom hall.

  i was disfellowshipped about a month ago but obviously word hasnt gotton far enough around...or has it and she's inviting me anyway???

  I wouldn't dignify that with a respnse.

  I absolutely agree ! Is this a new trend in todays society? ( I have seen this happen 2 times lately from people getting married texting / emailing wedding invitations) I would not respond, and let the bride contact you personally if she really cares

  just curious...... where are some weird places you have seen watchtowers and awakes placed?

  doctors offices and laundermats seem to be most popular, where else have you seen them placed ?
